It takes babies a long time to settle in, so just have to be patient I had my Falco from a hatchling and didn't see him out for the first 4 months! Don't worry, he'll settle in given time
What are you using for hides? I had a coconut for Falco and it was so big he was scared to move, so started using cut up toilet roll tubes to make him feel safe.

Yea that's totally normal Trevor was incredibly nervous for months when i first got him. Although when i bought a smaller hide for him he seemed much better.

Hi i have two yearlings that live in the lounge always coming out to see whats happening, my baby born in April only comes out in the evening and when i am sleeping i imagine. Given time he /she will become more confident and sociable i am sure.A toilet roll tube is good as a hide while young gives a sense of security.

That's good, at least you know why he's hiding away so much. It might be worth changing his hides to half toilet roll tubes after he's shed, will help him to feel safe and you can keep his hides until he's grown a little
