In my incubator The beer fridge one i have got it set up and the temps are lowest 84.2°f and 84.9°f normally sitting at 84.5°f so i dont think thats a prob. but the humidity sits at 54%. Now i have vermiculite in the bottom of the box and spagnum moss on top. The airholes are all sealed so the box is air tight. But what can i do to get the humidity up. The vermiculite weighed 250g so i put 250ml of water in. The moss came damp so i just left it. Before the moss was in the humidity was 35%. heres some pics

Heres the box

Heres where the probes sit. With the lid of

Here the moss over the vermiculite

Heres the fridge

Looking at the pics your humidity is in the range of 80% plus. Suggest looking again at your probe- put it in a hot shower and see if it gives an accurate reading (should be in the 90s!). Condensation generally doesn't form on the sides of a box unless its decent humidity. Looking at the amount of condensation and drops on top, and the fact it's airtight, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Just be careful it doesn't "rain" on the eggs.. Don't want to cause any temp shock change.

Can u wash the probs then. Will that not cause damage. And the moss is going to go on top of the eggs for the rain reason.

I just poured a mug of boiling water into a mug and put cling film over the top with two exo terra digi thermometers and hydro meters. And cone to the conclusion the newer one is broken and my old one still works. Heres what happened

mate i've found the thermometer/hygrometer combos are not to accurate. i had a combo one and the humidity reading was 70%, then got a new digital hygometer and it read 94%
