| Yes it is a mouse in the picture, he isnt gaining weight, he was on mice but the pet shop said try chicks so hes been on there for 4 weeks now. I dont know how old he is, was given him about a year ago and he was really skiiny and underweight then hes gained loads of weight since i have had him |

The thing is with chicks, they may be big, but they are day old. A large or jumbo mouse will contain a lot more nutrients which is better for the snake.
That being said, I still give chicks to the Plissken (when he is eating!) to vary his diet a little. |
