Hey can any 1 tell me where a good place is to get a corn snake from in the East midlands area? cheers

I'd always recommend buying from a private breeder. The animals are cheaper and the breeders info can *generally* be trusted much more than that of a pet shop (although there are some fab shops out there). Also, breeders will usually have the parent animals to look at and handle, which is nice.

Ask around, see who in your area breeds, and go from there.

Ac snakes have a very good reputation, hope to get a couple from them in the future

ahh thanks for the info i will check it out...

the only place i have been to so far is wharf aquatics and they seem to be ok... has any one been there and got a snake from there before?

I have some eggs waiting to hatch if you are intrested? They will be normals het anery lavender hypo, mum is an anery and dad is a hypo lavender i dont know what they have as hets though.

I too am wanting my first snake (well its my son's birthday but it will be mine!!!).

I am waiting on AC Snakes as they are hatch some soon and they are close to me.

But there is also Scales and tails http://www.scales-tails.co.uk/ in Wigston, Leicester that I have been to and was quite impressed with the staff at Pets at Home at Fosse Park Leicester
