William has gone dull again like he did the first shed he had with me which was only on 29.4.12!!!!

I understand young snakes shed more regularly but he is nearly 4ft long now, not sure of his age but he's old enough to no better!!!

Any ideas?

He is a he, he lives with Annie my girly, Annie was probed when we got her and he was on his own when we got him,

The woman who had him before didn't seem to have a clue about him!

You absolutely sure they are sexed properly/the right way round. Male readings can be false so Annie might be a boy and no mention of sexing William. Might be something you want to double check to be sure of if they are intending on been kept together permanently.

Its likely he has hurt himself, even bruises can cause shedding, my boy has just shed earlier than expected because he'd beaten his face up on the glass.

Annie had eggs in December so 100% girly :) they have been courting all week so William is a bloke :)

He may have bruised himself chasing Annie last week, I've never seen as much mess in a tank!

Um, I don't know but - if Annie only had eggs in Dec shouldn't they be separated? Isn't it a bit early to have more? I would have thought it would put too much stress on her and could be dangerous, but I'm not a breeder so don't know.

Neither were cooled off for breeding this year, Annie is back up at weight so if it did happen she would be ok x
