I find it so hard to take pictures of Jake! I've got a Nikon D3100 with two lenses, I did a photography course during the evenings hoping to be able to use it to its full potential and get some awesome pics of Jake. Unfortunately the class was way to big for the tutor to dedicate time to each person, so my knowledge is still limited when using it! I guess snakes aren't the easiest subject to photograph with them wiggling away all the time! Lol. You've got some lovely snakes there, Spartacus is lovely!

Those are some really fantastic shots. :) Love how you focused in on their faces. It definitely isn't easy to catch them in good pics. I've found it takes a HUGE amount of patience (even going so far as to let the snake wander around the "stage" to get comfortable before snapping pics) and a ton of shots so you can pick out the best ones. :D
