Got some more new girlies! The older girlies do look like they have poorly feet due to a past bout of scaly leg but it is all gone, just takes forever for the scales to drop off and regrow.
Girlies we got today! (hybrid rhode islands/warrens) They are 16 weeks old, from left to right then the bottom - Biscuit, Onion, Ginger, Paprika.
Got these Mid week, they are sliver sussexs called danni and vicki
Liquorice, black orpington
Maisie, she is kinda disabelled and can't walk well at all, so I call her Cripples sometimes :P but shes fine and bullying the new girls. Shes an ex battery
Flappy old warren and Ashely the lavdner Orphington
And Rosie stuffing her face and not looking up! She also can't walk well
Evil African Grey

Haven't you heard about the bird? Don't you know that the bird's the word?
Lovely new additions. Do you eat chicken? Obviously not them ones, but chicken in general? |

Yep, it's tastey :D I couldn't eat them though, not enough meat as they are the wrong type of chucks and some are so old they would be tough! Plus they are pets, least when they peck your face you don't need plaggy surgery unlike with 'too bites!
nusnakemum you should get some :D its so lovely to see them doing chicken stuff. Our new girlies today had never seen outside the barn since hatching, yet they knew how to have dusts baths and scratch about! So lovely to see. |

Oh they are all gorgeous. Have a soft spot for the ex battery/barn girls though :) They always have such amazing characters considering what they go through. We are getting 11 eggs a day from our 12 rescue hens so not bad at all. |
