Alright Guys and Gals,

I'm looking into getting into breeding and I was wondering what morphs would be a good one to try and get to breed, obviously I'd like to break even with the offspring but that isn't majorly important.

Any Ideas?

Frank (Amel Corn 1.0)
Felicity (Flick) (Normal Het Albino BCI 0.1)
Jack (Sunglow BCI 1.0)
Maisie (Hypo het Albino BCI 0.1)
Silver (Snow Corn 0.1)

unless you breed top end morphs you may just break even. depends what folks are after really would depend on what you breed. Just be aware you may have some hatchies that wont sell for a hell of a long time.

Tessera! If ya can get hold of one.

But yeah you may end up with some unwanted hatchies.
Ive got a local pet shop that takes mine but I sell them to my friends first, then if theres any left I sell them really cheap to the pet shop.
Im keeping one and 3 of my mates are buying one each so far out of 11!

0.1.0 Normal (Espher)
1.0.0 Snow (Midnight)

ive got 15 on the way, and ive got a pet shop willing to trade for snake food... but if you want to break even best ones would be tessera or palmetto if you can get hold of any. its taken me ages to get hold of a tessera and pallmettos are like MEGA EXPENSIVE lol

i should just add aswell that these 15 are from a friends snake that cohab'd and these was accidental. You need to read, read , and read some more before you start breeding

Lavender corns are the best to breed they are classed as gene unlockers as their genetics are a lot rearer than the normal morphs

How are lavenders a simple ressesive snakes if they are so rare to get a hold of and hard to breed to get a lavender back?

Yep, simple ressesive.

If you breed 2 lavenders together, you would get lavenders back.

If you breed 2 normal het lavenders together, you would get normal with no hets (1/4), normal het lavender (2/4) and lavender (1/4).

I quite like the lavender morph, makes some nice snakes with hypo and anery mixed in...

Aguna CB11 Anery - Typhon CB12 Amber - Plissken CB08 Carolina - Iara CB11 Caramel

Indra CB12 Lavender (?) - Evren CB12 Carolina (?) - Ophis CB11 Hypo Lavender - Sirae CB11 Ghost Motley

true, but well worth it I guess.
Is it a dominant gene? like tessera
if it is the prices will drop rapidly as more and more of them are produced.
I would love one, but couldn't justify spending that much money on one.. unless it could be bred to produce palmetto hatchies..

plus aswell ATM they are only selling females and the males later on, its to maintain the rareness of that gene (sorry if sounded dumb then, had mental block) lol
