One trick was to put flour on the floor at doorways. That way if it goes through a doorway it'll leave a trace |

Fingers crossed for both of you. Don't forget to check around plugs etc as they can get warm. |

The first time Amber escaped I was due to go on holiday, I was frantic looking for her and couldn't find her so laid some bottle traps and went away for a week came home an she still wasn't there until I went to bed, Now I'm not suggesting you go on holiday but to relax, take time in your searching and put as many traps down as possible. I tend to put old mouse bedding in my traps, with them around the edge of the room on heat mats / hot waterbottles |

Hi Emmerz. Very sorry to hear about your escapee but just be patient! Our corn snake (now about 18-20 years old) has escaped at least five times over the years. She has been found in drawers, book cases, wandering along corridor during the night and on our neighbour's pergola (after going missing for four months!). She last vanished in early August last year and was found just yesterday in a pile of leaves in another neighbour's front garden. She had survived for just over nine months fending for herself. She was very cold when found but still looks in good condition and is just getting ready to shed! She was hungry though and has disposed of three large mice which we had kept in our freezer just in case! So, don't give up - we didn't. Look forward to hearing when your little person turns up. zookeeper. |
