hey, i am new to the forum and the world of owning snakes! i have always wanted one and finally got my first corn snake on friday, he is such a live wire! i have been looking on here and other forums, websites etc for some tips so i was wondering if any of you had any tips on anything! And this is a picture of gonzo
Did you get Gonzo from a facebook group? It's the same picture I've got as I was interested! If so damn you as I wanted him! Lol! Welcome to the forum!

aww, well as soon as i saw him i knew that i had to have him!! he is such a live wire though! isnt too keen on being picked up but once he is out and about he loves it! my grandparents took alot of persuading, they still arent keen on the idea but im sure they will come round! they never like me getting my rottweiler puppy but they love her now!! i have already found it useful and its nice hearing other peoples stories!
Welcome to you too Cazzy - one thing though - now you have Gonzo you need to leave him to settle in for 7 days with no handling to allow him to get used to his new surroundings. Only go in to change his water daily.
thanks :) i brought him with his tank and all the bits so his surrondings are the same, but thanks for the advice i shall know for in the future. He is shedding atm and has just had a fed so by the time i pick him up again he would have been with me for a week!
There are tips here on pretty much everything you could think of - and some that most people would never ever think of.... Its a great source of information and reassurance. Just dip in and start reading! Pretty wee snakey by the way
