She'd been hidden away for a week and was suddenly out around her faun - thought she'd shed but nothing in there so just kept looking every 5 mins or so (was supposed to be cooking dinner lol!). Then one time I looked in and she had started! Called my son in and we watched her, it was fab! All came of in one go, I just need to get her out this evening just to reassure myself about the tail tip.
I did try to get the camera, but no way I was going to get good pics (poor light) and I didn't want to upset her.
She refused her pinky on Thurs which I put down to her having the blues - is it best to offer her one sooner now she's shed or wait until the standard 5 days are up? She previously fed 5 days before, just before going deep into blue. |

Must be great to watch them, I have missed it by minutes a couple of times but my OH and kids have all seen Sid shed, I am sure one day I will catch them. Both of mine won't feed when in blue and I feed them the day after shedding as it is usually well past the 7 days since they last fed and they always gobble it down. |

Thanks guys, I'll try her tonight when I get in from work. Didn't want to push too many feed attempts on her too soon! |

Ember is now tucked up nicely in her hide with a tummy full of pinky I'm so relieved - guess she's just one of those who doesn't eat whilst in blue! |
