hi peeps
today when i got my snake out he seemed to be having problems moving properly?? he seemed stiff nd he was straight like a pencil nd his tail was flickering about. he had been in his cool hide allday so i put him back and he went to his warm hide. has any one heard of anything like this before ?? could this be becuase he was cold ? temps on the warm side are 82.2f (lowest)and 84f (highest)
i have recently dropped the temps from 86f becuase i was told on here that was to high. the temps was 86f becuase i read they need upper 80's to digest food properly. will 82.2(lowest) and 84f (highest)be ok for him to digest ??
thanks

Dial thermometers are useless, they measure the temp of the air and you need to know the temp of the surface the corn is sitting on. If the dial thermometer is reading 24 then it is almost certainly hotter on the surface. |

My Royal Python does this to annoy me when getting him out of his viv, there is a 2 foot opening in the door and 4 foot of scaffold pole straight pyton is difficult to get out, he has no idea he is supposed to ball up. Wouldn't worry about it if its a one off, may be just being difficult. |
