My adults have large ceramic dog feeding bowls. Mim has a large casserole dish as its the only flippin thing she will use. My younger ones have weighted down medium sized tupperware dishes
8 has just been upgraded from a hammy bowl to a small rabbit bowl! jinx has inhertited the hammy bowl although it was soaked in boiling water before hand! i rember when i was studining at college the snakes didn't have big bowls are first and 8's dad had bad sheds once he was given a big water bowl he could soak in he shed fine so there could be a link.
They've all just got small ceramic hamster bowls. Mine have no need to soak as they're all good shedders. I also find giving them a larger bowl simply means a bigger target to throw substrate in haha!
they are both about 2 inches hi, and noether of mine burrowed so they do not have over 1/2 and inch of aspen so it doesnt tend to go in, i change it daily most if the time any way :)

Thats mine :p says rabbit on the sides lol None of my adults can get it in fully, only dip parts of themselves in and they have always shed perfectly so no, I don't think there is a link really between big water bowls and good sheds :P probably does help those with bad ones though.
Oh my! Milk bottle tops! *brain explodes from cuteness*
Ara and Ginn both have those rocky looking reptile dishes of different sizes. They can both get into theirs and have a good ol' soak if they want...or hide under it as is the case with Ara. Both are good shedders but Ginn certainly has a daily bath, Ara just slithers around like a teenage boy and may take a dip once a week if that.
