| my mate seems to think his corn snakes eat a large rat and there only around 3foot if that what do you all reckon?? |

Ppfffftt. No.
My adult 5ft corn can literally just about take a small rat (took him half an hour!) and even so I feed him jumbo/medium mice (when he's in the mood for food and not ladies that is lol!)
All my 3ft corns are on Medium Mice, apart from my Carolina, who is on smalls, but not for too much longer. |

| thats what i fort my corn is getting on to 6ft and he can only just manage chicks as he wont eat mice bless him i told my mate that his talking out of his bum lol |

| Chuckles loudly. My Royal that is about 10 times thicker than even the fattest corn eats medium rats, they are like small dog's that size, a large rat is enormous, I think he has his rodents muddled, corns eat large mice, anything bigger is pushing it. |

| Him saying large rat could be mean ed in so many ways though lol. A proper large rat is like 300 grams. Where as a large weaner is 60ish grams. A large mouse is only about to 23-29gram mark. the minimum weight for a small weaner rat is 26-50 grams.. I got rats here for my JCP an there's no way on earth my corn could take any of the small weaner rats I got here. So he either ain't got a clue what he's feeding or he's got one big are corn. |
