Just wondering about feeding Jory. Had him about two months now and never had any problems feeding him. I got ten pinkies when I got him and the guy in the shop said I'd probably be able to put him on fuzzies when they'd run out. They now have run out and I got some fluffs from Pets at home and they are massive. They're about 4 times the size of their pinkies. at last weigh in he was 16g and 18" long. I know the pinkies aren't big enough; there's no bulge when he's had them, so at the moment i'm feeding him three at a time. He's more than happy to have that many and like I said there's been no issue with his feeding. I know the idea is that the food should be 1.5 times the size of his head but if I give him a fluff and its too big will he ignore it or just eat it and potentially damage himself?
Also, sorry for wall of text |

If he is eating 3 pinkies then he should be ok, and its 1.5 times the widest part of his body x |

I moved cola up to fluffs and she was straight on them. Seemed to take ages to swallow it though and then two days later she regurged the back leg. Had to leave her ten days then to recover, tried another and same thing happened. She is back on pinks now as someone posted a size to weight chart somewhere on here (cant find it now) but thikn it said try them on fluffs when they get to about 25 grams. So thats what I am aming for. If I am wrong will some correct for me. |

A couple of weeks ago we noticed Chops was able to scoff more than one pinkie so we went back and got him some slightly larger ones. He now has a larger pinkie and a smaller pinkie every five days. They grow so quickly! |

If he's ok with 3 pinkys and it leaves a decent size bulge then he should be fine |

like others have said if he's taking three pinkys then he should be able to manage a fuzz. i get my fuzzies from p@h and have found they can be quite variable in size, have a feel of them and find the smaller of the lot if that would make you feel better, the first fuzz is daunting!! |

there is no need to feed 3 prey items, it can cause problems, he will be fine on a fluff x |
