Diffused is just another term that is used to describe the pattern changes that happens when a snake carries the bloodred gene. Diffused is a single recessive genetic trait so the bloodred part of the equation would be regarded as selective breeding.
(Im still learning about all of this but) you will need another diffused. Breeding 2 diffused corns however does not guarantee you a crisp bloodred. You will have to select both parents based on their colouring etc. I think its more of a long term project rather than just breeding 2 diffused snakes together. Although you could get lucky I guess. If I am wrong in anyway someone with more knowledge will correct me. xx
there is no bloodred gene, bloodreds are selectively bred diffused. there is a fine line between bloodred and diffused and really is down to individual interpretation as i have seen some snakes called bloods that arent even close, yet some cracking diffused snakes called diffused.
Its all down to selective breeding diffused corns, and as already mentioned a long term project. You need to select the darkest and least patterned diffused animals and keep on going until eventually you have your own line of bloodreds.
Also already mentioned, its all subjective - one persons bloodred will be nowhere near to someone else
