Hi there everyone,
well basically Galaxy has been on 2 fluffs a week and as people suggested last time i posted pictures of her eating that she would be ready to move up a size, which i was thinking too but i was feeding my last couple of fluffs to her the other day and she seemed to almost struggle with them tho she did start trying to swallow when she had hold of the fluffs back rather than 'back end' and i also there was blood tho i think/hope this was the fluffs...heres a picture of her today in my hand for size...just been thinking now and slightly nervous to move her up in a weeks time..
All advice welcome
Thanks

Don't bother with crawlers, they're a waste of money! I've always gone from 3 fluffs a feed to a small with no issues. Give her some more time, no need to rush to up her feeds if you don't think she's ready. |

depends where you get the crawlers. The crawlers I get are noticeably bigger than the fluffs.
If the 2 fluffs arent leaving a substantial bump in the snake after eating then it is indeed time to up the feed size. If you get a crawler and it doesnt seem bigger than the fluffs, then perhaps try a small mouse |

yup lightning is on crawlers/hoppers and they are a good size bigger than the fluffs he was eating. and i wouldnt go upto 3 fluffs as sometimes this can weigh more than a small itself so in that theory you would be stepping down their food xx
the ones i use are not actually crawlers/hoppers they are micro mice, they are a full size dwarf mouse x |

They're like, inbetween smalls and fluffs. I've never bothered with them, nor anyone I know. I find that once they've taken 3 fluffs for like, 2 feeds, they'll be sure to take down a small without issues. I don't keep feeding them 3, it's just to make sure there's no problems :> |

I don't mind with fluffs and pinks, I would never with larger sizes though! |
