| Thanks guys. im sure i diddn't do anything wrong. he never really grew since i had him and i kind of had a feeling he wasn't right. my other corn is set up exactly the same with everything duplicate to shayde and shes been growing/shedding/eating perfectly. i know as much as i tell myself it wasn't my fault, cant help but the thoughts to be there :( |

| Oh no, I'm so sorry :( Unfortunately you do sometimes get threads like this on the forum, where the owner has tried everything to get their snake eating and nothing works, so you are not alone. What I mean by that is, please don't blame yourself, it has happened to others, so it wasn't your fault. The fact you have another snake who is thriving is proof that you are doing things right! So sorry for your loss :( xx |

| Im so sorry to hear that, atleast he had one last leap of faith, you tried your best to keep him alive and thats the main thing,im very sorry for you ive even got a tear in my eye, Dont give up yet and please feel happy because you did you best and that is definatley something to be proud of :) x |

| So sorry to hear about poor Shayde. You really did all you could for him in the circumstances and I doubt the vets would have been able to do anything for him. At least he died at home and well loved |

| Thanks for the support everybody! Please don't think Im selfish for saying this i would rather have shayde back than money ANYDAY. but another thing that gutted me was i payed quite alot for him not so long ago. i think the pet shop lied to me about his feeding record :( |

nope i got him from seapets. he was my first buy and the guy told me i didn't need a thermostat or a digi thermometer either. both of which i quickly purchased after reading a few threads on this forum x |

| saldey when i have been in there they do not seem to know a great deal. i think buying from breeders is the way forward, and also pah seem to be getting a better reputation of late x |

yeah as ive noticed they are pretty bad in there. breeders is definitely the way forward or betta aquatics seems to be the best place atm. seapets have got 2 royals that haven't fed in months and are still sitting there, seemingly neglected. im pretty sure seapets don't have a warranty on pets either although you would think so cause of how over priced they are! |

| i know, i do like batta aquatics but they have gone mad with the re vamp and mad the decision o keep those two adults beardies ina 1.5 ft viv, not good x but they have some beautiful corn hatchie, but then the other day i saw one member of staff trying to ram a pinky in one of the hatchies mouth mid air. so its good and bad. i take every where with a pinch of salt. x |
