hi all from a snake newbie.

surprise surprise my first snake is a corn snake! only had him a couple of weeks. hoping this forum can help iron out some of the conflicting advice i keep getting - viv too big, need/dont need thermostat etc etc etc :) xx

welcome to the forum. viv being to big depends on the size of the snake and you definately need a thermostat

Hiya and welcome to the forum :) A stat is a must - a lot of pet shops say you don't need them so the initial outlay doesn't seem so expensive :(
