my female amel laid 21 eggs in total on the 2nd march. i had to slugs laid. and over the last week ive had one egg going yellow. well i done my 7 day check and i was what i thought another slug. im now down to 18. still waiting for second clutch. how long does it roughly take for the second clutch is it six weeks |

she double clutched last year but i cant remember how long it took. and also she has bulked up again she gone off he food again and im sure i can fill eggs |

around 25th of april. takes abot 6-8 weeks. i hate waiting |

btw Marc, I'm assuming you are not far from Gidea Park? I go there quite regularly, and I've definitely decided on an amel stripe as being top of my current want list lol! |

i wont have amel stripes till possibly next year. but i have just found a new trial breeding. my female may be a diffused amel (fire). or poss het diffused. so im putting her with my male bloodred so i dont no if i gonna go for the stripes and het stripes next year yet. but also i am only 5 mins from gidea park |
