I went out for a wander around the wildlife reserve and parks near where I live, as there are confirmed grass snake and adder sites about, and I wanted to try getting a few pics. As is the way with things, it wasn't particularly sunny of warm, so my girlfriend and I ended up at a pub and didn't see any snakes.

But we did find these...

Common newt.


And a toad.




Sorta snake...


With any luck, we'll be going out again to where there have been sightings of adders and try and get some pics!

Hee hee, I love the snake bench! We saw a grass snake whilst out walking last summer... and I had to extricate one from our garage a few years back!!
