HI
I noticed that my little corn had a red tip on its tail, thought it might of been a tip of shed left. I purchased some spaghum moss and made a small hide with an opening in it for him.
I have an 18" starter kit with 2 other hides, water bowl, heat pad, stat, plant etc.
My question is that now the shed has come off and is all good he doesnt want to come out of the damp hide.
Is there a problem with leaving it in as he has really come to like it.
He still comes out for 10 mins or so in the eve and handles well during the week.

Thanks in advance

Sean

You need to take the damp hide out, corns that are left in too moist conditions become susceptable to respiratory infections (RI's) or scale rot. They only need them if they have a problem shedding.

Aww lovely little set up you've got there :) Next time snakey goes into blue you may want to pop the damp hide in again until he's shed just to make sure it goes smoothly, but remove again after shedding :)
