my lil'en shayde approx 8 months old has been going mental the last couple of days! scooting around his viv in and out of his water bowl and trying to find a way out! is this normal activity now he is used to his environment? or could he be feeling the affects of breeding season at his young age? lol

Sounds like possibly its too warm, double check your setup temperatures including location make sure its not getting a bit warm and not sitting in sunlight etc. I have found my Gecko viv wasn't in the line of fire for sunlight over the winter but it is now and I've had to leave a bit of curtain closed.

im pretty sure the temps are the same as the whole time Ive had him. there is no direct sunlight going onto the viv either. i can even put my hand in his viv and move him and he doesn't freak out. or try to get away like when i first got him :)

You got some digital thermometers in there? If so, give us the temps, only way to be sure! :)
