The guide is one and a half times the widest part of the snakes body, would be surprised if a 20gm mouse would be a problem. |

I would try her with a small mouse first, make sure she's ok with the extra to digest before moving up to a medium, harry weighs roughly 160g and he's on a small weekly but once my stock pile runs out i'm going to move him up to mediums, lilly my female was on smalls weekly from about 87g to 144g, where i moved her to mediums, which she's now been on for 10 feeds and she now weighs approx 209g, she gets a medium every 7-10 days, but she is a greedy guts and eats anything put in front of her!! |

You would be surprised what they can get down the hatch. We have always go by the 1 & 1/2 times he widest part of the body rule. After a few weeks he stays active, even after he has fed so I up to two of what ever he is on. When that seems too little for him I up the size of his food.
Don't worry about choking, if the food is too big they tend to spit it back out anyway. |

sorry been awhile , I have upped her food size to a small mouse but I was really worried , she took over 10 mins to eat it and looked like she had got it stuck at 1 point but managed in the end , I was also shocked at how I reacted to seeing a dead mouse that size, looked like the size of my daughters gerbils :( |
