Hello everyone! I'm very much aware that I've been MIA for months now. Life very busy at the moment.
However I have some amazing news! Some of you may remember that my little anery corn Shoezy escaped her viv a while ago (7 months to be exact!). We searched the house like headless chickens but couldn't find her. I was convinced she had gotton outside and was gone forever, so lost all hope on seeing her again.
Well, amazingly, I came home from a long days work on Tuesday to find her curled up right in the middle of the hall!! I couldn't believe it! She doesn't seem to have lost any weight, has no visible scratches or sores and was her very friendly self when I picked her up. I fed and watered her that night and since then she has passed a very normal lookig poop. No concerns at this point! She's settling for a week back in confinement.
Hope you are all well! |

Glad to hear she has decided to make a re-appearance after all that time. Grass is always greener, isn't it. |

She is just as I remember her length wise: just under 3ft. I have never weighed her to compare prior to her escape, but seems just as she was when she escaped to the eye. She wolfed down her mouse like she'd never been fed before on Tuesday. Usually she likes to stalk and constrict when she is fed on a regular basis, but this time there was no messing around. Straight down the hatch!
Gmac- I'm on it! :) |

That really is fantastic news. You must have been so surprised. Bet you took a second and third look before you really believed she had reappeared. It's great that it appears she is non the worst for her adventure and I hope the check up goes well.
This really does need to give hope to others that have lost snakes |

Thanks everyone!
She is still sulking away under her warm hide in a spare RUB. I feel a little mean on her actually as I disinfected her viv and put my King in there when I rescued him. I hope she forgives me for giving away her mansion :P ;D |
