how thick should my snakes aspen bedding be because I see on videos that its thick enough for the snake to burrow into it |

i have mine thick on the cool end about 3/4 of an inche and barley any on the hot end x

2 inches...any more and the heat will not get to the snake and possible overheat the base and cause trouble. |

They say to leave it sp**** on the heat mat side but really they will burrow down to the heat once they are aware its there. |

Agree with Rob, all mine have at least 2/3 inches all over. They love to burrow and soon find the heat. Overheating won't happen if your thermostat and probe are set correctly. |

I still don't knooow
I have mine like 5mm thick or less on the heated side and like 1-2cm on the cool side. Not that it matters as the heated side soon becomes mostly bald apart from hills of aspen in places. |
