Witnessed the first proper lock of the year just now Kimiko my granite het charcoal poss het hypo amel lavender stripe to Cedric my opal het hypo stripe, will have them lock a few more times til it's obvious she's gravid and then fingers crossed for some lovely healthy eggs and babies
Also pretty sure I saw a lock yesterday between Diego my ghost motley to Willow my plasma het hypo, so weird how it all happens at once after so many times put on together previously!
Got a pic of the two just now but it's gross haha, looks like they're connected by a slimy nugget of poo!

It's not my first time, only the first time this year, I bred 18 hatchlings from one clutch last year so seen it all before, just exciting to see it all again

Thanks guys Haha Mamma that doesn't sound like a bad idea!! Might have to join you! Bun buns, there's a very slim chance of a hypo stripe I'm afraid, but if luck is on my side and I get more than one then it'll have your name all over it I'll let you know if any stripes at all pop out

Yeah I know the chance is very slim I just have gone over to liking the hypos now! I love the colours but the eyes are still dark unlike the amels. Normal stripes are still lovely too lol! I'm going to be like a kid in a sweet shop in summer, having to decide what to go for is going to be soooo hard! (I was also sorely tempted by one of Doogles CB11 hypos, but the price of a courier is putting me off lol!)

Arrrrrrgh, the wait is soooooooooo loooooong

Yeah couriers are quite pricey unfortunately, I've used one a few times but it's always been worth it, I love getting things in the post anyway, let alone when it's a brand new snake haha.
I am SUPER excited about this pairing though, it's gonna be a total surprise whatever pops out, even if no morphs come out I'll be happy cos all the babies will at the very least be normals het amel anery lavender diffused poss het hypo stripe
I'll be pairing the ghost motley x plasma het hypo again later so will get some gory photos for you all
Osc I'm far too excited to pair Cedric with Amber when she's big enough stripes galore!!

Will definitely have one or two amel stripes fingers crossed for a hypo lav Dan!
Diego the ghost motley and Willow the plasma het hypo had a good time together again last night I'm so proud of Diego, he was my first ever snake and was about 50g when I got him in July 2010, he's now well over 400g and no longer a virgin, what a clever boy I bought him from a shop so no idea if he has any hets, however he is extremely yellow most of the way down his flanks so I wonder if he could be het caramel, but who knows!

All three females have mated with their fellas now happy happy bunny!! Obviously still very early days but hopefully they'll carry on and give me some lovely eggs in the next couple of months! Got a little incubator up and running already but am setting up another too in case Willow the plasma lays half a tonne of eggs again, she laid almost 30 last year and it was her first time breeding
So Cedric finally got his wicked way with Asha the ultramel anery het stripe, so will have amels, ultramels, amel stripes and ultramel stripes

Well they've all been at it like rabbits so I'm hoping to have some eggs from them within the next couple of months, hopefully sooner but I'm trying not to get my hopes up just yet

I know for certain that I'll be getting -

normals 100% het hypo anery diffused lavender motley
hypos 100% het anery diffused lavender motley
amels 100% het anery lavender 66% ph stripe 50% ph hypo
ultramels 100% het anery lavender 66% ph stripe 50% ph hypo
amel stripes 100% het anery lavender 50% ph hypo
ultramel stripes 100% het anery lavender 50% ph hypo
normals 100% het anery diffused amel lavender 50% ph charcoal hypo stripe, these are from opal het hypo stripe x granite het charcoal ph hypo amel lavender stripe, so if her poss hets prove out then there'll be some other bits and bobs in there too and if not then there'll be some super cool project normals which I'll be more than happy with anyway!

Thanks Mick!

I paired Kimiko the granite with Cedric again last night, left them in for about 15 minutes and they did nothing, so I'm sure she's gravid She's looking nicely plump on her lower half, usually she's a slender girl so it's obvious that she's got something building up in there

Crap pic but you can hopefully see that she's looking particularly plump on that coil above the tip of her tail, it's far more obvious in real life!
