Hello all,

I'm a first-time snake owner, having bought Nico back in October. Things have been going great but I am curious about what type of morph he is. The pet store simply advertised him as a "fancy corn snake," though I suspect he may be a normal.

Any thoughts?

Agreed - I think normal. Not much black, so maybe if the lighting is different it could be hypo? But my money's on normal.

Those were the two I'd narrowed it down to. He has the basic coloring of a normal, though what threw me off was his lack of black. From the photos I saw in the morph guide, most of the normals have their spots outlined with a very prominent black that's very faint on him.

I'd agree with the others - could be a hypo as less black. Pretty :)

John is a Hypo and this is his belly.

The chequers are not black but a darkish orange / brown with orange chequers and yellow ones. A real mixture really.
