Been for a visit to Dunelm today and picked up a couple of pieces of mopani wood for the vivs (£1.99 each bargain), do I need to treat them or can they go straight in?

when i got mine they were a wee bit dusty so i just gave them a rinse, then bunged them in

I usually give mine a wash and a spray with reptile disinfectant and allow to dry out
