Hi
Got a 9/10 month old male snake and he's about 16inches long.
Is this small for his age?

(was born 15th June 2011)

It's a little small, BUT, they all grow at different rates.

What weight is he? And what food are you giving him, and how often?

I've got 3 hatchlings, all late july/early august 11's, and they are all around 20'. One weighs 37grams, and the other 2 are 28grams. So there is a bit of a size difference between them!

Still seems a bit small but as Dan said they grow at different rates. As above, what are you feeding and how often? I would expect weekly fuzzies by now at least, but it sounds like that may not be the case. Certainly 1 pinky is unlikely to be enough, but again, he may just be small, more info is needed!

He's recently has a two regures on the 8th and 15th feb around his shedding period, so I'm having to build up his food again, before the regures he was on two pinkys (had the fuzzies in freezer ready) he's now back on track, has had a pinky tonight

My plan is probs give him another pinky Monday, then try him on two pinkys for couple of feeds see how he goes, and then try him on fuzzies by end of month.

shedding wouldnt normally induce a regurge, maybe hes being fed a tad too often. you should have waited ten days between feeds afer the regurge just to make sure his tummy is settled. i would wait 5 days between single pinkys and 6 between fluffs/double pinkies. all my opinion of course not hard solid facts x :)

one of mine if 14 months old and is only just 20" and has been on 1 x fluff and 1 x pinky every 6 days for the last 3 feeds.

i dont think there is a too small for a regular feeder its just the rate they grow.

Yh I waited 10 days, and the last two feeds he's only had a pinky heads, tonight was his first full pinky since the regure. I amit it was my fault for the regures I feed him at the start of the shed, witch he didn't agree with, and I then didn't relize I should wait 10 days, so lead to second regure. Anyway I have learnt and corrected it and he's now doing ok now.

Yh I normaly wait 5 days between pinkys and 6/7days with 2 pinkys.
But hopefully will be on the fuzzies soon :) x

feeding him in shed wouldnt cause him to regurge, if he didnt want it because of shed he wouldnt eat it.

hope that stepping up goes well.

my first corn (pop's)was hatched on the 15th june aswell he is now eating one small mouse once a week he is just over 2 1/2 ft and weights 117g we just waiting for him to shed
He sheds every five weeks with out fail i know this will slow down as he get older

Our second snake (siz) is older than pops he was hatched in april 11 he is only just coming up to two feet in length and only weights 68g he is one a very small fuzzy twice a week
he sheds twice since we got him in january

I would not be worried if every snake was the same then it would be boring looking after them

Aww shame about the regurges, sounds like you've got him back on track now though :) I wouldn't feed Monday though, I'd leave it a least 5 days if not a week if he's been regurging and that was his first whole pink.
