Hi, I am just waiting to be approved on Thekingsnake.co.uk but as they are very similar I though it was worth trying here (hope it's in the correct section). My friend is interested in getting his first milk snake, we've seen one on preloved: http://www.preloved.co.uk/adverts/show/103969939/peublan-milk-snake-with-viv-and-set-up.html
But the bit that I'm unsure of is: "Strangely only eats fuzzies, however he will eat 5 or 6 in one go each week but won't eat a large mouse".
Is it something to be concerned about? Could it be changed?? |

I've seen that advert myself. Its very strange. Its something that could possibly be sorted out,but I'm one of those that errs on the side of caution and I'd be worried about whether there was a physical reason. Thats just me though. Another thing to think about is if your friend can't get it to convert thats a hell of a lot of fuzzies to be buying and its going to mount up cost wise. |

Pretty much what mort said. I personally would steer cleer. My milk was a nightmare to feed in the 1st place, constantly nervous etc. He was a stunner, but depends on the snake really. If hes a prob feeder, does your friend have the time and patience to get it feeding right? |

I too told him it would put me off a bit, he's only just got his first corn snake last week so perhaps not best for a beginner. I wonder if that's why it was so cheap. Cost wouldn't be a problem but maybe the time and patients could be a bit off putting. |

No mention of a thermostat to go with the heat mat. It could be a factor in the lack of interest in normal feeding.
I'd let it go to someone with a bit of problem feeder experience. |
