This might be in the wrong section .... mods feel free to move me if it is.
I've been playing around making badges recently, and after making a set with jellyfish i have decided to make a set of corn snakes. Each set will have 4 badges with one snake on each, one will be Cherry (thought it would be nice to make one in memory of her), but i can't seem to decided on what types of corn to use for the remaining 3. In addition to not being able to decided what snakes to use, if i did i would need permission to use the image.
So i'm asking for help :D.I'm looking for 3 different people who would like to have one of there snakes turned into badges.
I will use the photograph to draw or paint your snake, the image will be shrunken down and turned into badges. Here is a photo of the Jelly fish badges so you can see what they look like:
Obviously i'm not expecting you to let me use your photos for free, i will post you the Original artwork to do with as you like, once i have finished with the picture.
I'm hoping to have 4 very different looking cornsnakes at the end of it. Cherry was a Carolina, so i'd rather not use any other normal corns. I also want to focus on there heads, so any snake with distinctive or strange head markings would be brilliant. Doesn't matter what angle the photo is from.

These look really good. Here's a zip with a couple of shots of Blaze (Amel) and Mirkey. I know he's not a corn but everybody likes him.

| you should custom make some for people that want them of there own snakes they can send u the pic u need and then u could work out some sort of price for them inc postage this way u get lots of dif pics :) |

sue2012 - i thought about it, but It wasn't really about making money out of you guys. The badges will be for sale, like the jellyfish badges, but i thought it would be fun to gather some images in exchange for some free artwork. Obviously if anyone wanted to commission me i'd be happy to do that, i could do cheeper ones using just photos, or drawn and painted ones for more. But i would still like to get 3 good images in exchange for the art as well :D
ScalySituation - Sadly i am looking for other morphs this time, but i'll defiantly keep him in mind if i need another carolina :D
Okeetee Mick - Thanks, i'm starting to actually make some money so i'd getting better haha. I really like the Stripe, what type is he? defiantly a high contender.
Casta - Had a look at one of your threads, do you have any closer of your beautiful bloodreds head ?
Auld Baldy - Thanks for the photos, i was thinking of using an amel so i shall put him on the the short list along with Okeetee Mick's stripe. Once i have a few different snakes i'll pick the 3 that will work best to paint up. |

I can get some more specific hi-res head shots if you need them. Blaze is relatively easy to get to pose for the camera.

| i would love to get some pics to u of my 6 babys (all corns) and get u to do me some if this is pos i would love to have some prices from u at some point also if u paint/draw them maybe a pic of all there heade on 1 pic (if u know how i mean) going by your jellyfish ones u def know what u are doing u will sure have a list of pics from people u will be branching out in no time ............if my snakes are of any use i would be more than happy to get some good head shots for u i have a normal,amel,lavender ghost,anery,snow and a very light amel she is very yellow not much orange good luck with them all hun cant wait to see some more pics of your work x |

just fed the hatchies last night but i've gone through some photos and cropped a few. hes shed since these pics were taken though and is a bit brighter now. will get sum in a couple of days x

Auld Baldy - Thanks, i've put some pictures under you name into a big file, where i'm putting the Possibles.
sue2012 - Nice idea, i hadn't thought about just doing snake portraits, its a good idea. If your still interested in having your snakes done then give me a message once i've finished these 4. My email is Daegfire@hotmail.com. I'll be posting the artwork here as well so you will be able to see what they will look like. I'd like to have a look at the 4th and 5th snakes in your signature if thats ok:D.

new_snake_2011 - to be honest i don't even know :P I do lectures in paper cutting at the local collage and the badge making stuff is in the same room as the laser cutter so i often use it as something to do while the cutter is at work. I can try and find out if you like, i'm there tomorrow.

I've been working on the picture os Cherry, just so that people can see what the images might look like. This is only half finished, these more work to be done on her neck.
This is the original image before editing, So this is what it will look like when you receive it in the post.
I edit the image after so that when its shrunken down to 1inch high it still stand out. I can send a .Jpg of this as well by email if you like.
