Lots of options and they are all free. It is amazing how you become an automatic tube spotter shortly after taking up snake keeping.

Another thing to look out for is the flexi-ducting used by utility and cable t.v. companies. Various diameters and always a few offcuts lying about.

@ Staple, have you got the trots? lol

I see Mr.AULD B.are you volunteering to 'dispose' of all those pesky 12yr old bottles of malt that one often finds bunging up those useful snakey play tubes?
I supose its more enviromently friendly than chucking it down the loo

I am always willing to go that little bit further to improve animal husbandry.

Just send me a decent 12 year old Speyside and I will post out environmentally friendly recycled tubes by return. There are no limits to how many or often you may take me up on his fabulous offer. In fact, the more the merrier.

I remember when you did that to Venom's viv Sta~ple....quite a few years ago now! As I've said in the other thread about kitchen rolls, I don't have them in my snakes' vivs, but do have a bag of them as 'snake toys' and they're very successful .

No comments regarding Auld Baldy's 'generous' offer....because me thinks he has an ulterior motive !

Xxx

Coincidentally, my youngest Anery refuses to have any sort of tube put in his vivarium. It sounds strange, I know, but when he was a bit smaller I was trying to entice him into eating and just as he was about to snaffle up his pinky a kitchen roll tube I moved next to him (so I could find him and so he had a clear shot at the pinkie) slipped over and bopped him on the head. Whenever he sees a cardboard tube he now insists upon striking at it.
He's fine with virtually everything else now, but not cardboard tubes.
