Hi Everyone,
Like the title says i am a new Corn Snake owner, i have had him a week now and named him Syd, i have feed him today and i am still amazed every day by him, he seems to have such character which i didnt expect.
I am going to drop some thing in off mine so he knows the smell while i cant handle him, the person i purchased him from said he will be due to move up in food soon, i know there is charts etc so you know which i need to get hold off.
Pics will be uploaded shortly, is there any recommended reader anyone could suggest please?

| welcome , alot of people use socks to learn ur smell , pop it in with him and leave him be for a week to settle and then enjoy :) |

to read you can't go wrong by reading all the stickies at the top of the forums on this site- an absolute must imo and yr snake will thank you for it. theres also a book by kathy love which is called corn snakes the comprehensive owners guide- its only little and not dear, I refer back to my copy quite often- definitely worth getting hold of-
and use the forums in here- the Knowledgable Bods have been life-savers on many occasions, sometimes literally, and are really helpful if (like me) you have neurotic panics every time something happens you're un prepared for/ yr snake does its best to do yr head in

my copy of kathy loves book arrived this week and iv'e not been able to put it down! would definalty recommend it i've also found this site to be a great help! |
