I've just tried getting some good pics of the snakes using Manda88s' technique of putting a box over the snake, then taking pics as it's removed.

It didn't go well......

What's in the box?

The best one of Aguna, who shot away like a rocket pretty much every time....

Iara, who WOULD NOT face the right direction.

Sirae, who just straightened out like she was spring loaded...

Well.....

At least he took some good pics!

Poser.

Enjoy!

Well at least you got a couple of nice shots of Plisskin.

I tried to get a belly shot of Mirkey. Bright idea was a sheet of glass on top of a couple of big styrene boxes and bung him under a heavy casserole dish and take snaps from underneath. Was he dis-chuffed at that idea? You bet he was! No way was he in a mood for co-operating and all but chucked the dish at me. It will just have to be Face Hungers from now on.

Cheers everyone! It may've been a bit of a disaster, but I thought it would make for some entertainment.....

I'm getting a bit stir crazy at home. I'm recovering from acute tonsillitis, and I'm on a massive ammount of antibiotics!

I've always found irish whiskey to be the best treatment for tonsilitis.....

doesn't cure nuffin, but it makes the symptoms bearable.....

also works on
coughs
colds
'flu'
any 'allergic' reaction (eg to monday mornings)
bad hair days
and chronic pneumonia

and you thought there was no such thing as a stupid question....

I would do this, only it gets in the way of the driving and operating of heavy machinery I do on a daily basis.....
