My hatchling Morse spends lots of time exploring the viv, I have no problems with this, but I often find him/her curled up sleeping at the front in the open.
The viv has loads of foliage and hides of one sort or another (empty toilet roll inners and bark hides), so not lacking places to hide!
Should I be worried that Morse sleeps in the open?

Not in the least. It just means that he's content where he is. He is just playing with your head.

Nothing to worry about at all. Quite the opposite really, it shows how happy and settled he is if he has no need to hide away.

Playing with my head is an understatement
Morse is always giving me something to worry about, had a couple of regurges resulting in a drop from 7g to 5g
Has now eaten 4 times successfully and back up to 6g, due to be weighed and fed on Fri.
Hasn't shed with me yet, so no doubt will do something to cause concern.
Zeus is the opposite, eats and sheds regularly,at last weigh-in was 15g, but constantly hides away and is quite skittish to handle!
Lol, would be boring if they were the same

Yup, my two are there first thing when I leave for work, come out for a quick cuddle, water change and then snuggle into the warm hide for the day. Its our little routine. It makes for good photo opitunities. X
