| hey! Hate to state the obvious...but im NEW to the site lol!! Got my first corn snake on thursday 10th jan! And he/she is gorgeous, a beautiful red/yellow colouration! I have named it Sammy because its a unisex name and the first that came to mind and my daughter agreed on it lol! Its around 3months old and has settled in very well in his viv, he had his first feed yesterday and that went well too and i made sure i used prongs (my spare pair of cooking ones) to place the pinky into the box so he does not associate my hand with food as i dont fancy being bitten if im honest and my daughter likes to 'stoke' him when i am handling him! you probably dont need to know this but its so cute when she shouts for him saying 'Saaammmmy the snaaake!' and saying sammys in his house haha! lovely new addition to our family, cant wait to get to know you all and learn lots more!x |

Congrats on getting Sammy, they really are lovely beasties 
Not sure whether you know already or not, but make sure to give him a couple of days after feeding before you handle him so he can digest properly and you dont risk a lovely smelly regurge lol  |

| Thank You! trust me i have lol dont fancy having to clean up half digested pinky Haha! Iv left him to settle a bit more today, just slightly lifted one of his hides to check he was ok! lol! Snakes fascinate me! They are such beautiful creatures!! and he really is so calm too! By the way all of your snakes are gorgeous! xx |

| Thank you all, im already thinking about another one haha! just dont tell my boyfriend! lol, i have just been handling Sammy then and she is soo lovely and was really content and happy being handled! im saying 'she' because one of my boyfriends friends has kept and bred snakes for years and currently has over twelve and he came round to check the set up i done and thinks Sammy is female! i love getting her out but i never want to put her back in lol! This definately is an addiction!! xxx |
