I came across a post on another forum about someone who had used a frosted plastic cup as a guard on a low energy light bulb. I guess that different colour cups would create different lighting effects. Any thoughts on this? Does this actually work? The picture posted looked ok.

Lol, thought you were going to talk about using one on a heat bulb
Sounds quite fancy! So long as the bulb doesnt put off enough heat to melt or crack there shouldnt be a problem...

Theres not much to see really. It looks like it has its very own outdoor light installed Thought it might give a nice effect though and no ugly cages in site. http://www.reptileforums.co.uk/forums/snakes/408000-new-viv-lighting.html
