Hey guys,
Any idea what's wrong with Red's scales? She's sort of flaking! She shed on xmas eve perfectly and now this has happened? She's also making the odd sharp wheezing sound! Quite worried! We're just cleaning out all her viv at the mo.
Flaking on her head.
Belly
See it along the edge of the scales?
Patchy skin on her scales

If this is what I think it is, then my snake gets it too. Its like skin that hasn't come off the scales but she shed perfectly, right? I gave her a warm bath and a towel rub and thought no more of it, she seems to be okay now and she's had it a few times.
Hope someone else can shed some more light! |

Yeah her shed was perfect and whole. Had one weeny hole it and that was me being rough with it getting it out the viv.
Yeah we'll give her a soak soon I think and see if that helps. She has had a couple of baths lately though too, cos she was constipated. |
