Thanks It's ok to get this close to him during the day thankfully, but during the night there's no chance I'd go this close! He'd eat me without a doubt!! The thing is, it's just him being hungry rather than angry, it's just that after about 7pm he wakes up and realises it's food time |

So beautiful! He looks so tropic. I think they're one of those snakes I'd rather admire than own myself. Like retics. The eyes are just so captivating. |

Thanks everyone, glad you like him! not much longer now til we're officially allowed to handle him, whether I'll want to or not is another thing entirely They are a great subject for photography, seeing as they just sit there for hours on end!

Aww Enzo is growing up! How long do you have to remain hands off with these then? Although I think I'd be permanently hands off with these after seeing the gnashers on them lol! |

You're not supposed to handle them for the first year because their spines are so delicate, to be honest I'd be wary of handling him until he's a fair bit bigger anyway cos I'd hate to hurt him and not know about it, but we'll see! He'll be a year old on the 31st March, so not much longer |

Oh wow! I didn't know about that. Can't say as I blame you for being on the wary side. Keep us updated with the colour change. |
