My little boy BANGLE is just over 6months old he does everything right eats, sheds, poos and very friendly. He is 22-24 inches long and weighs 46g he eats 1 fuzzy every 7 days. When looking at him you can see the ridge of his backbone always is he just a skinny snake who will fatten up as he grows? |

Im still feeding my 6 month old hatchlings every 5 days they are still only around 30 grams in weight so i dont think 46 grams would really be considered too skinny |

He sounds like he's a good weight for his age to me. You could always pop a pic of him up for people to take a look at if you're worried, but hatchies tend to be on the slim side so I wouldn't worry too much. |

Mines 6 and a bit months, 23in and 38g. So it doesn't sound skinny. You can see its back bone when it's using it's muscles etc. looks normal to me. |

Corn snakes are slim bodied snakes. They are skinny its how they are supposed to look. If you are worried your snake is underweight then a good way to judge it is the shape of their body, an underweight corn snake will have a body shape like a toblerone, an overweight snake will be round or lumpy down near the tail. A healthy and normal corn will have a rounded back, the spine ridge will be visible but not prominent, nice straight sides and a flat belly, a bit like a slice of bread in shape. |
