Hello.

Feed my 1YO corn this time yesterday and it has already done a poo in it's viv. The previous feed was at least a week earlier. Most people have told me it normally takes 48 hours so is this normal?

I've never seen a regurge. Can a regurge be really digested?

A feed takes just over a week from eating to pooping out, just happens to be 2 or so days after a feed but its not the mouse that just went in, it takes 24-48 hours to break it down they wouldn't poop it straight out lots of nutrients to be absorbed.

To be honest I think I was being over zealous. Definately no chance it was a regurgitation.

You would know if it was regurge I can assure you of that. Poo smells and I'm sure you'll think I'm mad but I'd describe it almost like an overly sweet smell. Regurge absolutely - burn your nostrils, peel paint off the walls - stinks, its like nothing I have ever had the misfortune of smelling.

Nice.

Does anyone elses Snake poo in the same place in the viv? I thought it was a mammal thing to do that.

sharon seems to prefer pooing in the same place as often as possible- not in the viv tho, on my poor 7yo son! she's done it at least six times so far in the last 2 1/2 months!!
