so when i got flicka she had a bad tail. because shes a rescue i didnt know what had happened to it and being a new snake owner, i didnt know what it might have been, so i thought it wouldnt be that bad otherwise the rescue people would have picked up on it. so i had her out a few moments ago and saw a tiny little bit of lift in the skin of the tail. i pulled it off, it came off fine in the shape of the tail. then there was anothr lift so i pulled that off and i came off like the other bit. then there was a nother lift, this layer being dark and stubbly on the end. i was able to pull that bit off fine aswell (took a couple of goes but i got there.) she was fine with me doing it and clamed right down to being very calm instead of her carzie self
do you think it was a relife for her to have it off? she did seem alot happier after. i didnt think anything of it untill today because when she shed for me the whole skin came off, tail tip and the whole head intacked.

She would have been better, but might have been better to let her slide through a damp towel?

as long as it's off that's the main thing and well done spotting it!
i'd have thought the 'rescue' place might have noticed and done something about it though.....what sort of 'rescue' was it?
