My sister's chinese crested Cindy, demonstrating how to live in a viv lol. Its pretty big!

My question is this, if we were to put the TV on top of the viv, with a layer of foam underneath would that be ok or will the vibrations upset the snake? There's not really anywhere else for it to go because its so big!

Also, apologies for the bad pic. It was taken on a phone. Ill get a better one once she has moved in :)

Vibrations might annoy it but more than that the TV may bow the ceiling and make opening the viv impossible.

Just so you know, I opened this thread thinking it was going to be something about male gentils.

Like bob, I would have thought the issue of the TV being heavy and and bowing may make the viv hard to open.

Hah oh god i never even considered the possible connotations! I did think about the weight of the TV. But when he delivered it, the chap that made the viv said it wouldn't be an issue. Its not a massive TV and its pretty heavy duty wood he used. My main concern would be whether or not it would annoy the snake.

Don't think TV's vibrate too much anyway now? Never really seen a vibration or heard one coming from any of our tellys..

Why don't you use a bracket slightly above the viv, or put the viv under a table and the tv on the table..

Is the back wall of the viv made from the same type of wood as the rest of the viv or is it a thinner wood?
