HI everyone. I'm JP. I have 2 corns one female red/orange named Medussa and one male white/yellow named Ghost. I bought them earlier this year 2011 as babies at Petco and have grown quite a bit since. I feed them live for the freshest nutrients possible and I also breed my own mice. I've been documenting their feedings since June 24, 2011 through video and still continuing to do so. if anyone is interested in checking those out feedings visit http://www.youtube.com/user/lblpunk, but be aware they are LIVE feedings , but tis the way of the serpent . I feed live prey to my snakes so the energy is still fresh and body cells in the mouse are not dead. death is a process, and the nutrients in the mouse are still good and I believe healthier digestion for the snake. I started feeding them live at a young age so they learn how to handle prey and be more proficient at hunting for when they get older and have to eat bigger mice so they know what they doing. plus its good exercise, keeps their minds sharp and its how snakes been eating since they evolved to do so. they have eaten dead ones before and I do not have to pretend they are alive for them to be interested. if anyone has any question for me go ahead and ask. see ya.
Any chance of some more pictures? :) I'm not gonna watch the videos, as watching live feeding makes my stomach turn, but I'd love to see more of them :)
Firstly...welcome to the forum, they are nice looking Corns you have (more pictures would be awesome )
Although there is an awful lot of debate on whether it is necessary to feed corns live pray in capitivity (a debate i won't get into here - there are plenty of threads for it), it sounds as though you know what you are doing - and you are totally right about them doing it to survive in the wild...
Anyway...back to reality...welcome to the forum and I can't wait to see how your two progress - do you plan for them to make once they are both mature enough?

ill take more pictures soon. the red corn Medussa has a unique broken zigzag pattern on her back that i have not seen in other corns.i would like to see more with that pattern mutation. ghost has a brilliant yellow on both sides. and i do plan on breeding them when they mature.
