This is my new arrival from Manda88, and I'm so delighted with him! I've called him 'Falco' after Falco Aesalon, the first animagus in the HP books.
One of Amanda's pics to let you see what he looks like

It was hard work trying to find something not too obvious that everyone liked, didn't want to give him an evil name like my daughter did to Voldemort Can't wait until next week so I can hold him |

Lovely looking snake. And the Harry Potter books are a great source of snake related names, most of which are actual snake gods and goddesses from different cultures. Just shows some of the reserch put into the books. |

Aww hes a lil cutie i love mythological names dont get me wrong i loove harry potter but without wanting to start a hp potter debate i think mrs rowling "borrowed" a lot of ideas from a lot of my other favourite authors though i gues they all do and its so hard to be original theese days shes certainly created an awesome world of characters be sure to get some more piccys asap Hissy hes gorgeous |

Brilliant news!! Did he let you watch him or did you just leave him to it? He sounds like he's settling in great if he's roaming around happily and eating so soon! |

He wasn't happy being watched, we had to sit on the floor and crawl out of the room so he didn't see us It was an hour before he ate it, after pushing it around for a while |
