We have a really great snake shop just along the road, it's the guy's hobby, so only open in the evening.Went in last night for some frozen mice, and the guy was so nice. He spent an hour getting some royal pythons out (trying to convince me they were better than corns), aged from 8 weeks-adult, and all really lovely. The adult was some weight though, very chunky! Just as well I have my little hatchie coming on Monday or would have been so tempted

my view on royals:
your set-up isn't right....they won't eat,
the time of year isn't right....they won't eat,
you handle them too much....they won't eat,
you look at them the wrong way....they won't eat,
you fart in their direction....they won't eat!

oh, and there's their silly peanut-heads to take into consideration...........

cornsnakes, ratsnakes, bullsnakes, boas and day geckos

Haha, I did say to him I'd read they were difficult to keep, and had a tendency to stop eating, also heard they are a bit boring and spend all their time hidden away. Didn't put him off in the least He said corns are a pain as they move about so much lol, that's one of the things I like about them

woah! wheres the love? royals are great for when you fancy something different from corns. iv never had a problem with their feeding or anything. i still love my corns but you gotta admit that sometimes you want to diversify the collection?
i am also quite endeered to their 'peanut' heads! lol
also been looking at a crawl cay boa, ptmbradley. its all about veriety!
