Until today, I hadn't ever taken Shoezy outside in the sun as I was unsure of what her reaction would be. She was discovered on a garden wall as a probable escapee/ released pet in a sub urban area.

Now that she is back to health and a reasonable size and that the weather here is glorious , I decided to try her out outside as I wanted to take some update photos of her.

She was very well behaved! A little cautious at first, but was soon exploring our pear tree.

Here are the best from today. I tried to resize them but they still appear big :

Thanks for the responce everyone! I'm so pleased she didn't bolt away. We have no idea how long she spent in the wild but it must have been enough time to feed herself as she is a very aggressive strike feeder.

No worries! Infact, I'm pretty sure there should be a camera invented souly for the purpose of capturing your snakes perfectly when they start dashing around, as I'm sure everyone on here knows that it is almost impossible to get a decent photograph of an exploring snake! No blurring, no over exposure. Just perfect snakey snapshots with a snakey camera. The dream!

Usually I have to work very hard to get a solid shot of Shoezy, especially if she isn't eating, as that's usually when she is too busy nom nom noming to be camera shy when awake. But she was moving very lazily and very relaxed in the sunlight in these pictures, so I had an easy time getting these photos.

Thanks again to all for their comments. She's a diva for sure, so I know she appreciated them!
