Strange question maybe but what's the best way to measure your snake? I haven't had much success in getting her to get her straight enough to get a fairly accurate measurement!

See if you can lay out some string besides her when shes fully stretched, then measure the string.

I did have it working but seems to take an age to load the image. So now I just do a quick resize to about 1500 pixels and it's been working fine. Not overly better than the original but I do prefer it.

Corns: 1.1 Anery, 1.1 Butter, 1.0 Carolina, 0.1 Hypo, 1.1 Snow, 1.0 Sunkissed

Currently, to measure AURYN, i wait for him to start making his way around the edge of his home...when his tail is at a corner i see where his head is and then measure that distance with a good ol' Christmas cracker measuring tape

I just used the snake measurer for the first time, and it seemed to work very easily - but I did resize the photo before I uploaded it. 2 separate photos gave very similar results.

an how do u calculate how much to add or subtract from the shed due to stretch when fresh an shrinkage when dryed within an hour of the shed?

a shed can be as much as 10% longer than the snake it came from, thats 3cm's for every foot of snake. which on a average 4ft corn equates to 12cm. so not too accurate by my standards
