I am putting money aside for the crestie i plan to get in october, would a 30x30x45 be suitable from young to adult, from young it would be kinda cluttered with fake plants and branches so it would not freak out with the size.
If not suitable any suggestions
Thanks

I have Harley in an 18 Litre RUB, he is just too tiny for anything bigger, in fact its difficult finding him now they are very good at hiding. He has a big vivarium to go into when he is bigger but for now for everyones sake he is in a RUB, and its gives me plenty of time to sort of lots of foliage and logs for him.

To start with I had all three of my babies in a 45x45x45, then I had to remove one cos he/she was bullying the others (eating tails etc) so I moved it into a 30x30x45. I then thought the 45x45 was to big for the others so I bought another 30x30. Each 30x30 viv has two hanging plants, a piece of upright cork bark, a branch, and a hide. I generally don't have much bother finding them unless they are behind the backround. They are over a year old now though.

So yes you will be fine with the 30x30x45, but like others have said you could just get a RUB while it gets a little bigger.

How funny I posted pics of my cresties exactly a year ago to this date. This was the topic http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=11791.

But yeh it has been a while since they had a photoshoot. Might do something about it soon, all though two of them don't look as pretty as they did then because one has half a tail and the other doesn't have one at all, thanks to Brindle.

Personally I would say a 30x30x45 is too small for an adult as they love to jump around all over the place, trust me it will use all the room you can give it! For a baby it would be fine for ages, I've found that my two babies have grown really slowly since getting them in January, at the moment they're each in a medium sized faunarium and they're over a year old and about 18 grams.
These are what my two will be going in very soon once the plants have grown in a bit more, they're both 40x40x60 custom made by Richie at rainforestvivs.co.uk, he's a lovely guy and is brilliant at making these

If it's a tiny baby that you're getting then I would say something like a 3 or 5 litre RUB would be good to start it off in, or even one of those Exo Terra Breeding Boxes, and then put it in the 30x30x45 once it's outgrown that.

I hope this helps!
